This video caught my attention a few days ago, and I have to say this is some pretty impressive stuff. I thought myself pretty clever by writing a decent set of image resizing features for my CMS, but this takes the cake.Watch and learn.
All I can say is... hook us up with the algorithm so we can port it to PHP. My customers would foam at the mouth having this functionality available (OK, they probably wouldn't even notice, but it would make me feel special).

I can't believe that! That's fantastic! I too would like to see how the algorithm works and have a PHP port. How awesome would that be for thumbnail creation!
